House of Swadeshi (HoS) is a brand owned and operated by Vritti Designs Private Limited (VDPL), a company incorporated under the laws of India.

All products, services, content, intellectual property, and transactions conducted through the HoS website are managed and provided by VDPL. Any reference to “HoS”, “House of Swadeshi”, “we”, “our”, or “us” on this website shall refer to “VDPL”, “Vritti Designs Private Limited”, unless stated otherwise.

2. Eligibility & Acceptance

7. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Eligibility & Conditions

  • Issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Products must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with tags and packaging intact.

Refunds

International Orders

This International Customers Addendum (“Addendum”) forms an integral part of the House of Swadeshi – Policies. It applies specifically to customers accessing, purchasing, or receiving shipments outside India.

By placing an international order, you agree to the terms outlined below in addition to the Policies.

1. International Orders

  • International orders are accepted subject to product availability, destination country regulations, and logistics feasibility.
  • HoS reserves the right to cancel or refuse international orders at its discretion.

2. Pricing, Duties & Taxes

  • Prices displayed on the website are exclusive of international customs duties, import taxes, VAT, GST, or local levies unless expressly stated.
  • All such charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and must be paid directly to the relevant authorities or logistics partner.
  • HoS is not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to unpaid duties or customs clearance issues.

3. Shipping & Delivery (International)

  • Estimated delivery timelines are indicative and may vary due to customs clearance, carrier delays, or external factors.
  • HoS shall not be liable for delays caused by customs inspections, regulatory checks, or force majeure events.
  • Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon dispatch, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

4. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds (International)

  • International orders are not eligible for returns or exchanges, except in cases of damaged, defective, or incorrect products.
  • Approved refunds, if any, will be processed after inspection and may exclude shipping, duties, and handling charges.
  • Reverse shipping costs for international returns shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
