At House of Swadeshi, every product is thoughtfully crafted and quality-checked with care. This Return Policy explains the limited circumstances under which returns or exchanges may be accepted.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms stated below.

1.Shipping & Handling

Within India

  • Orders are delivered within 3–7 business days

International Shipping

  • Orders are delivered within 7-10 business days
  • Delivery timelines may vary depending on customs clearance

2. Return Eligibility

Returns or exchanges are accepted only if the product received is:

  • Damaged during transit
  • Defective due to a manufacturing issue
  • Incorrectly delivered (wrong product)

Requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.

3. Non-Returnable Situations

Returns or exchanges will not be accepted for:

  • Change of mind or personal preference
  • Incorrect selection by the customer
  • Requests made after the eligibility period
  • Used, washed, altered, or damaged items after delivery
  • Products purchased during sales, discounts, or clearance (unless defective)
  • Minor variations in colour, texture, or finish due to handcrafted nature or screen differences

Such variations are inherent to artisanal products and are not considered defects.

4. Conditions for Return Approval

To qualify for a return or exchange:

  • The product must be unused and in original condition
  • Original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact
  • Valid proof of purchase (order ID or invoice) must be provided

House of Swadeshi reserves the right to inspect the product before approval.

5. Return Process

To initiate a request:

  1. Contact our support team within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Share:
    • Order ID
    • Clear images or videos of the issue
    • Brief description of the concern
  3. Our team will review the request and respond within 2–4 working days

Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

6. Refunds & Exchanges

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days after inspection
  • Exchanges are subject to product availability
  • If a replacement is unavailable, a refund will be issued
  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error by HoS

For international orders, return shipping costs (if applicable) shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed.
